February 14th, 2018Ag déanamh pancóga le haghaidh Máirt na hInide.
Pancake Tuesday….We had lots of fun making the batter….. and then the pancakes….finally eating them!
We are also busy looking for signs of Spring so our daffodils were examined carefully!

Beidh Díolacháin cácaí ag Rg. a 1 & a 2 ar an 14ú/Cake sale on the 14th of February.
Beidh an scoil dúnta ar an 15ú & an 16ú Feabhra le haghaidh an bhriseadh lár-théarma. School will be closed for the mid-term break on Thursday the 15th & Friday 16th of February.
Caomhnú Leanaí/ Child Protection training
Beidh leath lá againn ar an 21ú/2/’18 & an 7ú/3/’18 chun páirt a ghlacadh in oiliúint múinteoira maidir le na imeachtaí cosanta Leanaí nua.
The school will close for a half day on the 21st /2/18 and the 7/3/18 in order to facilitate training for teachers on the ‘Children First National Guidance for the Protection and Welfare of Children’. School will finish at 12 o’clock on both days.
Beidh Wolfe Tones ag teacht chun scileanna peil agus iománaíochta a dhéanamh leis na daltaí go luath.
Wolfe Tones will be implementing a fundamental movement programme with the children in GDR after the Easter Break. Derek (From GAA) will continue to train them up until then.
Denim Day for Dementia-Alzheimer Society of Ireland ar an 9ú/3/’18. All children are permitted to wear denim to school and donate €2 to this very worthy cause. Míle Buíochas!
